Here’s what you should expect in the days following the treatment.
0-24 hours: You will notice your fine lines and wrinkles will start fading. Your face will feel fuller and more voluminous.
Day 3-5: Your old skin will start to slowly and gently peel off, leaving fresh new skin to show up on the surface.
Day 7-10: Healthier skin begins to come fully to the surface, and you will notice a healthy glow.
Day 10-15: You will notice the most significant benefits during this period, and your skin will look its best.
IMPORTANT: Avoid the use of retinoids, topical creams, benzoyl peroxide or anything that can sensitize skin for 24-48 hours before the service. Also, avoid facial waxing within 7 days of the treatment.
F.A.Q.
-
Mesotherapy is a superficial form of nano-needling. It creates tiny microchannels in the skin to allow serums to penetrate deeper into the dermis to smooth fine lines, brighten tone and improve texture.
-
Microneedling is far more invasive than Mesotherapy. Mesotherapy is more cosmetic and works within the epidermis, where microneedling works in the upper layer of the dermis.
-
Dermedics last anywhere from 9-13 months.
-
Because mesotherapy is noninvasive, there usually isn’t any down time. Many people are able to return to their regular activities right away. Your skin will be brightened and flawless immediately after the treatment.
-
Like microneedling, it is recommended to do a series of 3-6 treatments for optimal results at least 2 weeks apart. A treatment plan can be discussed during consultation.
-
No, the treatment is not painful.
-
You will see immediate brightening results.

Prior to your mesotherapy appointment, please ensure you are not taking any blood thinners such as Advil and Aspirin at least 24 hours before and after treatment. If you are on a prescribed blood thinner, please consult your doctor prior to the appointment about whether it is safe to stop your medication. Alcohol, Omega 3’s and some other multivitamins may cause blood thinning as well and it is recommended to stop taking them 2-3 days before treatment.
After the treatment, it is also recommended not to touch or wash your face or hair for 6 hours. Makeup and skincare applications should be avoided. If the skin is dry, an unscented moisturizer may be applied. Unscented gentle cleansers may be used after the 6-hour post-procedure period. It is also recommended to change your pillowcase the night of the treatment before going to bed to reduce the risk of infection. It is best to avoid taking a hot shower 24 hours post-treatment to reduce the intensity of inflammation which may cause prolonged irritation. It is recommended to refrain from facials, hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms for one week to avoid potential infection and prolonged redness. Sleeping on your face is also not advised, as it causes further irritation of the skin.
